Recital 2010 Information
All students are to arrive at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium on June 6th at 3 PM sharp. Students should be dressed in their first costume so they are not charged admission. Upon arrival, all students should report to their dressing rooms or drop off area. The show begins at 4:00PM and will run approximately 2 hours.
Balcony level dressing room
The following classes will report to the balcony level dressing room.
Wed. 4 Tap, Wed. 5 Hip hop/Jazz, Tue. 5 Ballet, Mon.5 Tap and Mon. 6 Jazz
This is a girl’s dressing room so no men are allowed. Please send a female family member in to drop off and pick up your child. Upon the conclusion of the Finale, you can meet your child in the dressing room. Please instruct your child to wait in the room for you and not try to find you. You do not need to wait in the hallway line to go upstairs to pick up your child. You can go get to the balcony from the stairs in the lobby of the auditorium instead of waiting in a very crowded hallway.
Stage Level Dressing Room
The following classes will be dropped off at the black curtain located in the hallway to the left of the stage. Sat 9:30, Sat 10:30, Sat 12:00, Tue 4:00, Tue. 5:00 and Thur. 4:00. Please have your child dressed completely for their first dance with their dance shoes on, and hair and makeup completely done. Leave all street shoes, coats and personal belongings with you. They should have their other dance shoes and costume accessories in a bag that is clearly marked with their name. Please send them with a snack and drink that will not stain their costume. At the end of the finale, please send ONE member of the family to pick them up at the same black curtain. If the whole family comes to the hallway to pick up one child, the hallway becomes crowded and chaotic. Please be patient at the end so we can safely return the children to their dressing area before we allow a parent through the curtain to pick up.
Downstairs Dressing Room
The following classes will be in the downstairs dressing rooms. Wed. 6 Tap and Wed. 7 Hip Hop, and Junior and Senior dance teams. Please do not wait in the hallway at the end of the show to pick up your child. They are old enough come up to meet you at a designated spot or you may get them through the side door to get downstairs. Please avoid waiting the hallway to go through the black curtain to get them as it is not necessary and it adds to the crowding of pick up process of the younger dancers.
Absolutely no cameras or video equipment is allowed in the auditorium during the show. Videogram productions will be selling videos of the show. Flowers will NOT be sold inside the auditorium this year. We are looking forward our 25th show and thank you all for your support.
